Our Story
The Desautels Technology Club (DTech), the preeminent club at the crossroads of technology and business on the McGill campus, organizes events that help students gain exposure to the technology field in a manner that complements their studies.
Our goal is to provide a platform for students to connect with professionals and gain hands-on experience in business and technology. Through our case competitions, guest speaker series, networking events, workshops, and more, we help students create and expand their network, gain new skills and open their perspectives on technology in business.

Driven by empowering students
Through conferences, panels, case competitions, workshops and more, we aim to inform and educate students on technology and its innovations. We aim to create a community of support, helping tech-savvy students reach their personal and professional goals.
Female-led organization
We are proud to have 57% of the Club's Executives and Analysts being Women, including Co-Presidents. Ever since 2022, DTech has grown to become one of Desautels’ top 3 clubs, with a growth of +1.5k followers and +250 members.

Initiative for growth
We launched the 1st Canadian AIS Chapter at McGill University and the Desautels Technology Review (DTR). Our Inaugural Tech Career Fair, supported by Desautels, will provide our community with access to Tech firms to accelerate their tech career.
